Russ and Ann Grelling joined their individual talents and shared vision to establish Grelling Residential Home in 2006 as an adult residential home for developmentally disabled adults where every adult receives sensitive, professional care.

 

Ann received her Bachelor of Art’s Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina; and she received her Master’s Degree in Religious Education from the Southwestern Baptist Seminary.  Having served developmentally disabled adults extensively throughout her career, Ann is highly qualified to be the administrator for  Grelling Residential Home.  Her qualifications include professional experiences as:

          

· Caseworker, Work Training Instructor and Supervisor with the Agency of Vocational Rehabilitation for (State of Georgia);

 

· Assistant Director for the Home Missions Board in Atlanta Georgia, and Fort Worth Texas;

 

· Director of Church and Community Ministries (Alexandria, Virginia); and

 

· Assistant Director for the Dekalb County Workshop (Agency of Department of Mental Health/Mental Retardation, Atlanta, Georgia).

 

Ann has served on the Board of Trustees as well as Chairperson for Regional Advisory Committee for the Virginia Baptist Children’s Home.  Ann has a wide variety of professional certifications and agency licenses.
